Continuous Improvement
Included here is an introductory package which defines continuous improvement and outlines the links between continuous improvement, Self-assessment and accreditation. The package includes the principles of continuous improvement and a step by step approach to conducting continuous improvement activities. Information is provided to assist in developing a Plan for Continuous Improvement, using the results of Self-assessment. It also includes case study activities and practical exercises. The Agency highly recommends that the education package on Self-assessment be completed before you begin this package.
Also included is a PowerPoint presentation and two information sheets that complement and summarise the Continuous improvement package. The slides and information sheets may be downloaded and used by aged care homes in their on-site training sessions to assist staff with group or individual learning.
