Data and Measurement

Included here is an introductory package that can be downloaded, which indicates how data and measurement can be used in the residential aged-care setting. It provides some simple tips when using data and measurement to assist aged care homes in improving services to residents. A number of case studies and practical exercises are included. It also deals with methods for collecting data and using quality tools and results. The Agency highly recommends that the packages on self-assessment and continuous improvement be completed before this package.

Also included is a PowerPoint presentation and three information sheets that complement and summarise the Data and Measurement package. The slides and information sheets may be downloaded and used by aged care homes in their on-site training sessions to assist staff with group or individual learning.
