The Agency's underpinning philosophy is that high quality care is achieved through education and accreditation.

The Agency seeks to promote high quality care through its role in education in achieving the following objectives:

• Involve all staff in aged care from staff to management to contribute to quality care
• Improve efficiency and effectiveness of management to support quality care
• Inspire innovative, creative and tailored care solutions for residents

To meet these objectives The Aged Care Standards and Accreditation Agency Ltd is hosting six Better Practice events across Australia in 2005.

These events will provide a dynamic forum to share innovations and practical ideas about achieving better practice and improving the quality of life for older Australians. Plenary sessions will provide insight and inspiration within the broader themes of improving the quality of aged care. Concurrent sessions will provide practical, take home ideas.
